Changes to dashboard importer
The dashboard import screen has been given some UI improvements, including the addition of drag/drop functionality.
Some new optional settings have been added for more control over merging files into your project. These settings are currently saved in your session and not shared with collaborators.
The auto-tagging feature is being deprecated in favour of these new settings. If you are used to seeing tags like "Import batch 1" being generated automatically, note that this tagging is now user-defined.
The API does not yet have access to the new settings, so the auto-tagging feature is still active when importing via the API. Feedback on the new dashboard features will dictate whether support is also added to the API.
Change to exported Gettext headers
In order to comply with Gettext header conventions Loco PO exports now write the language code (not name) into the Language
header.
The exact code used in the Language header can be overridden using Loco's alias feature. Create an alias called gettext
for your project locale and it will be used.
For example, the language tag "el-Latn-GR"
could be changed to "el_GR@latin"
to support the convention in the above link.
The language display name (not your actual team name) is also now written into the Language-Team
header, but without an email address.
